Registration Procedures

Course commencement may occur in either the winter or summer semester. We kindly request that applications are submitted by 15 July for the winter semester and 15 January for the summer semester. Prospective students from Germany, as well as foreigners and stateless persons who have a German student permit (i.e., were awarded their secondary school leaving certificate within Germany), as well as nationals of member states of the European Union, can apply by 15 July or 15 January at https://campus.uni-freiburg.de

Exchange of places

Applicants who are not “new” students may be accepted based on the following prerequisite: they exchange their study place with a student enrolled at the University of Freiburg, both exchange partners have the same level of training, and they are in the same subject semester. The submission of a declaration of consent by the exchange partner is also required.
